John Lloyd

The originating producer of Not the Nine O'Clock News, Spitting Image and Blackadder, John spent 15 years at the BBC creating programmes such as The News Quiz, Quote...Unquote, The News Huddlines and To The Manor Born, and played a key role in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Mr. Bean, directing hundreds of TV commercials in his spare time. His own format, QI, was conceived in 1999 and has been broadcast on the BBC and Dave continuously for the last 14 years. John also writes books and presents Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity. He was honoured with a CBE in 2011 for his services to broadcasting.
