QITV is the production arm of Quite Interesting Ltd, the award-winning research company behind BBC2’s QI, Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity, and top-rated podcast No Such Thing As A Fish.

We are a relatively new production company with decades of programme-making experience, and we are currently developing a wide slate of innovative programming across all media. Annually our 11-strong team produce 95 programmes for TV, radio and online.


QI Ltd (founded in 1999) created QI in 2003. Having just finished its 18th series, it is the 2nd-most repeated show on British TV, running up to 30 times a week on Dave. Nominated 8 times for BAFTA, it has won an RTS award, a Rose d’Or, 4 British Comedy awards, 2 Bulldog and 2 National Television Awards.

Broadcast on Radio 4 for 15 series (each 6 episodes). In 2016, it won
the Rose D’Or for the world’s best talk show in Berlin.

No Such Thing As A Fish

A weekly podcast started in March 2014 (369 episodes and counting) resulting in live tours and special events. Downloaded over 30 million times, it is consistently in the Top Ten on iTunes chart and has won 2 Chortle Awards, the Heinz Oberhummer Award for Science Communication, and declared one of the Top Podcasts of the Decade by Spotify.

No Such Thing As The News

QI's first production, commissioned by BBC News and Current Affairs, ran for two series in 2016 and 2017.



John Lloyd – Executive Producer


The originating producer of Not the Nine O'Clock News, Spitting Image and Blackadder, John spent 15 years at the BBC creating programmes such as The News Quiz, Quote...Unquote, The News Huddlines and To The Manor Born, and played a key role in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Mr. Bean, directing hundreds of TV commercials in his spare time. His own format, QI, was conceived in 1999 and has been broadcast on the BBC and Dave continuously for the last 14 years. John also writes books and presents Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity. He was honoured with a CBE in 2011 for his services to broadcasting.

Natascha McQueen – Head of Production

Natascha is a highly experienced media professional with over 25 years in the industry. She has credits with all major international broadcasters including the BBC, Discovery, CNN, NatGeo, Ovation, SKY, C4 and ITV - across every genre from Documentary, Live Events, Features, Factual, Drama-Documentary, News and Entertainment programming. Part of the EMMY winning documentary team in 2013 and awarded Journalist of the Year as Sky Italia’s Head of Programming in 2003, she has worked on a wide range of high-profile projects as Line Producer, Executive Producer and Head of Production, as well as TV Consultant for new channels. Natascha joined the QI team in early 2016.

Simon Urwin – Executive Producer

Simon is an executive producer with 30 years' experience in network TV.  Uniquely, he has worked on both sides of commissioning, as a Commissioning Editor at Channel 4 (Big Brother, BBLB) as well as producing shows (notably the Bring Back franchise) for the same channel through his own small indie, Simon & Simon. His credits include all the major UK broadcasters as well as leading international networks, including TruTV USA, NatGeo, CNN International, RTL Croatia, TVE Spain, REN & TNT Russia. In addition to his TV career, Simon spent two years as Creative Director of leading tech/creative agency Rockabox where he executive produced digital/online campaigns for leading brands including Tui, News International, Monsoon and John Lewis. Simon joined QITV in 2017 to work with John and Natascha across their TV and online projects as a Development Executive.



We operate a small studio & meeting room in Central London. Ideal for podcast/radio recordings, PTCs and other productions.
